Philosophy

My teaching philosophy is to give students a critical and objective view of their work and how it might be perceived out in the marketplace.  I like to help students solve problems and get the best out of their work so that their portfolios will land them a position in the field. This often involves pushing them to their limits.  But, I also enjoy challenging students at their level of understanding.

A good teacher is one who understands the material, but continues to learn. I try to stay current on my field of expertise and like to look to many for inspiration, including students.
